The World Ag Expo kicks off its golden anniversary show today in Tulare through Thursday.

 

Gates opened at 9 a.m. for the 40th anniversary show, with opening ceremonies planned at 10 a.m. with a performance of the national anthem by Brenna Yaeger, season 8 contestant on The Voice, accompanied by the Tulare Community Band.

Other highlights include the Bud Light After-Hours Party Wednesday, starting at 4 p.m. A concert by country rock group Parmalee and a fireworks show kicks off at 5:30 p.m. The concert is free with paid admission.

The 50th year of the Tractor Parade kicks off at 10 a.m. on Median Street. The parade will feature tractors representing the years of the show, starting with 1968.

For those who can’t make it down to Tulare, live webcams of World Ag Expo’s show grounds, powered by HD Relay, can be viewed online.
