One of the fastest-growing health care groups is growing a little bit faster this week with the opening of a new center in Selma and the groundbreaking of another in Dinuba.

Based in Parlier, United Health Centers announced the opening of their Selma clinic this morning, making it their 16th center. Located at 2705 S. Highland Ave., the 12,000-square-foot building has 17 medical exam rooms, 11 operatories, three optometry exam rooms and numerous specialty services, as well as ancillary services including free transportation for patient appointments.

Last month, they also broke ground on a 20,000-square-foot center in Reedley with 22 medical exam rooms, plus the other services offered by UHC. This center is expected to open in January 2020, with the Dinuba center following a month later.
