The Del Taco location in Tulare is hosting a special fundraiser Saturday to celebrate its 20th year in business, with 100% of sales that day going to local organizations.

Franchisees Nicholas and Mimi Yuen opened the location at 1415 Hillman St. 20 years ago, and wanted to thank the Tulare community for its support.

“Since we opened this Del Taco restaurant in Tulare back in 1999, we have been so impressed and overwhelmed by the ongoing love and support of this community,” said the Yuens in a statement. “We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our 20th year than by giving back to the people and organizations who have been so instrumental in the success of our business for two full decades.”

The fundraiser begins Saturday at 7 a.m. and will last 24 hours through 7 a.m. Sunday. All sales will go to the following organizations: Tulare Union High School, Tulare Western High School, Mission Oak High School and Tulare Boys & Girls Club.
