Producers Dairy is changing it’s all-natural sour cream recipe to include just one ingredient – cream.

The Fresno-based company’s rebranded Natural Sour Cream, which will include new packaging, will begin being delivered to grocery stores across California on July 22.

“Using cultured cream as the one and only ingredient, it allows you to know at first glance exactly what they’re putting into their recipes and meals. It is also the only locally-produced sour cream in the Central Valley,” states a press release from Producers.

“We only use cultured cream, it’s pure, and it has an amazing clean flavor with no aftertaste. All of the milk or cream we use to make our products is free from any artificial hormones and antibiotics,” Richie Shehadey, a part owner of Producers and director of marketing, said in the release.

“The majority of sour creams on the market are made with additional ingredients. We deliver locally, so customers can be assured they’ll get the freshest sour cream,” the release continues.

Producers will showcase its new sour cream at the Fresno Food Expo July 26 at the Fresno Convention Center, along with its new Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream.
