Noble Credit Union, formerly known as Fresno County Federal Credit Union, is taking nominations for a new contest to celebrate the name change.

The credit union is seeking nominations of community members who are also noble — “exhibiting qualities of compassion, decency, generosity, caring, etc., who have made an incredible impact for another person or organization; a person who improves the lives of those around them with their amazing acts of kindness,” according to a news release.

Nominations can be made online at noblecu.com and are being accepted through May 31. Just click on the “Be Noble.” graphic.

Five nominees will be selected from all of the nominations, and their stories will be posted on Noble Credit Union’s Facebook page for two weeks where people will be able to vote for their favorite.

The nominee with the highest number of votes will be recognized for being “noble” and will receive $1,000.

Nominees do not need to be credit union members.
