Happy Market Research, a market research podcast founded by local entrepreneur Jamin Brazil, was acquired by Los Angeles-based market research automation platform PureSpectrum.

Happy Market Research was founded in July 2018, producing market research podcasts featuring in-depth interviews with industry leaders from major brands including BuzzFeed, LinkedIn, Adobe, Lyft, and Microsoft.

According to Brazil, it is the most listened-to podcast on market research.

“The goal is to build the most comprehensive and widely used set of market research technology tools to market,” Brazil said.

With the new acquisition, Brazil will now be president of PureSpectrum. Prior to his new role, he co-founded survey software firm Decipher and was also the CEO of market research technology company FocusVision. Brazil said that Decipher is used by 75 percent of Fortune 500 companies.

Brazil said he will continue to bring software solutions to market that address insight professionals’ needs and improve speed to insights. The Happy Market Research podcast will continue.

“We are adding new customers weekly and our existing relationships are expanding because we are investing in the necessary resources for an outstanding customer experience,” said Michael McCrary, founder and CEO of PureSpectrum. “By adding Jamin Brazil to our team, we add proven industry expertise that will continue to add value to both customers and staff.”
