Lights, camera and action are on their way to the Fresno County area with next week’s first airing of a new show on HGTV.

Airing next May 18 at 11 a.m., “Go Big or Go Home” is a home-makeover show. The first episode will cover the transformation of an 800 square-foot farmhouse.

Local companies such as California Turf & Landscaping, Kazarian Construction, Clovis Stone, Ewing irrigation, A1 Equipment Rental, Custom Drywall Service, Trinity Electric, Duration Painting, California Building Products, Avenue Home Staging, Kroeker, White Pine Lumber, Trust-All Roofing, Alta Standard Builders, Bedrosian’s, All-Star Plumbing, Cabinetry Design Center, Gillispie Woodworks and San Joaquin Forest Products participated in the renovation.

HGTV is also looking at airing an episode of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” in Fresno.
