The Downtown Fresno Partnership has announced the 2019 launch of its Downtown Fresno Storefront Renovation Program.

Made possible by JP Morgan Chase’s PRO Neighborhoods grant, along with the Central Valley Community Foundation, the program allows Downtown Fresno business and property owners to apply for a grant of up to $2,500 in matching funds to help finance improvements to the exterior of existing buildings in the Downtown Fresno Business Improvement District.

For a business to be eligible, the project must be located in the Downtown Fresno Property Based Improvement District (PBID), and business owners must hold leases longer than month-to-month.

Applications for the Downtown Fresno Storefront Renovation Program are due on July 12, and winners will be announced on August 7. Those who win the grant must show proof of progress towards completing the renovations by Oct. 25, and provide an invoice to the Downtown Fresno Partnership for the improvements by Jan. 10, 2020, or risk the loss of the grant.

For more information, and to apply, visit downtownfresno.org/renovation.
