Johanson Transportation Service (JTS), a third-party supply chain solutions provider headquartered in Fresno, has opened a new logistics office in Orlando, Florida.

With the new Orlando office, JTS will now have direct access to some of their key customer’s e-commerce and distribution facilities. It will also serve as an East Coast sales hub.

Another reason Orlando was chosen is because it offers direct flights to all major cities in North America, making it an ideal place to launch new customer sales efforts east of the Mississippi, said VP of Logistics Craig Johannson.

“With this new office location, the Logistics division can be physically on site at any of these customers’ facilities on the same day if we need to be,” Johannson said.

Since its founding in 1971, JTS has been helping producers coordinate their shipments throughout the U.S. with its nationwide network of truck, air, ocean and rail intermodal transportation.

It has locations in Rocklin, California; Salem and Tigard, Oregon; Madison, Wisconsin; and Denville, New Jersey.
