The City of Fresno parks department announced higher parking fees and extended hours of operation at Roeding and Woodward parks for Sunday’s Easter holiday.

The entrances to each park will be opened and staffed beginning at 6 a.m., with the parks closing at 10 p.m. The entry fee on Easter will be $7 per vehicle.

The typical entrance fee is $5 per vehicle.

Parks officials plan to be onsite to assist visitors, as well as hand out trash bags and fliers at the entrances asking visitors to keep the parks clean.
