Fresno Pacific University is gearing up once more for its Social Business Plan Workshop.

FPU’s Center for Community Transformation is organizing the workshop, and the top ideas will have the opportunity to be part of CCT’s 7th Annual Spark Tank Pitch Fest for Social Enterprises, which awards thousands of dollars in start-up capital. The goal of the class is to create self-sustaining and viable businesses aimed at social change and addressing community needs.

The workshop will be led by Andrew Shinn, business instructor at Fresno Pacific and founder of The Craft of Entrepreneurship. The class runs from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. May 15 on the main campus at FPU. Admission is free.
