Central California-based Culinary Competitions International recently rebranded and is now operating as Ag Marketing Worldwide (AMW).

In a statement announcing the change, AMW said the new name better reflects the enterprise’s expanding services within the global market. The marketing firm provides brand consulting, event management, creative design and public relations services for both agricultural commodity boards and private brands.

The company operates on nearly every continent and opened four offices in China last year, including facilities in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing.

“While our roots are in the culinary arts, we offer highly specialized expertise in a wide range of other areas that help position our client’s products for international sales success. Our new name more accurately represents what we do for our clients on a regular basis,” said Peter DeYoung, AMW president. “We are a highly creative company that can tackle just about any challenge thrown our way, and that’s what separates us from others.”

One of AMW’s main focuses has been to increase sales in their client’s international markets and DeYoung said the company offers advice on how to efficiently spend dollars on international campaigns.

“It’s all about creating measurable results for our clients, and with a team of industry professionals in each country, AMW successfully navigates the challenges to each market,” he said.

Formerly a division of Fresno’s Alliance Advertising and Public Relations, AMW became an independent operation in 2014.
