Clawson Honda partnered with the Poverello House this week to collect goods for people in need.

As a part of the Team Honda Week of Service, the Clawson crew aims to collect at least 2,000 household items for their campaign ending on Sunday, according to a press release from the dealership.

Anytime during operating hours, 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., people can go to the dealership on Blackstone Avenue between Bullard and Sierra avenues to donate items such as toiletries, packaged and gently worn clothing, canned food items and water bottles.

Those who do can get a free coffee from the dealership’s barista bar.

Then, on Saturday, employees will be at the Povorello House to serve breakfast and distribute the donated goods, as they did last Saturday.

The Clawson family of dealerships operates Clawson Honda of Fresno, Clawson Motorsports and the Clawson Truck Center. It opened in 1976.
