Zoo's African expansion gets state, fed OK

Fresno Chaffee Zoo received federal and state approval to move forward with its Africa exhibit, which will include a breeding group of elephants.After receiving the thumbs up from both the state and national parks services, approval from the Fresno Planning Commission is the only thing remaining for the Fresno Chaffee Zoo to begin construction on its new Africa exhibit.
