SpotProperty online homebuyer service launches in 50 U.S. metrosSpotProperty online homebuyer service launches in 50 U.S. metrosSpotProperty, a new Internet real estate website, has launched in Fresno and 49 other U.S. metros to help home shoppers find the best deals.

The site, a product of San Mateo-based Movoto, Inc., allows users to browse through homes for sale in their area as well as sign up for emails alerting them about daily deals that fit the criteria they're looking for in a home.

Using Movoto's DealSpotter algorithm, the free service analyzes records from over a million for-sale homes and nearly five million sold homes in order to locate the best deals relative to the local market.

According to Movoto, SpotProperty users can expect deals priced at 10 to 20 percent below the current market value, saving them thousands on their down payment and annual payments.

"There are a lot of tools on the Internet to help homebuyers, but these don't tell buyers if the property is a good financial decision," said SpotProperty co-founder Henry Shao, in a press release. "Consumers have to spend a lot of time browsing through numerous properties online to find a good value. After my own recent search for a home, I knew there had to be an easier way."
