The Marjaree Mason Center’s annual awards luncheon will be held Oct. 19 at the Fresno Convention Center, Exhibit Hall.The Marjaree Mason Center will honor the Top Ten Professional Women and Top Business of the year at an awards luncheon Oct. 19 at the Fresno Convention Center, Exhibit Hall.

For more than 25 years, the Marjaree Mason Center’s Professional Women Awards have honored women who have made great strides in their fields while also giving back to the community and serving as positive role models.

Now, in addition to the Top Ten Professional Women, there is an annual honor given to one business for its achievements in its field while supporting its women employees and women in its community.

The honorees are:

Amy Arambula: Project Manager, Promise Neighborhoods, Reading and Beyond

Vonda Flanigan: Owner, Vonda's Fine Gifts

Esther Franco: Executive Director, Fresno Council on Child Abuse Prevention

Nancy Hollingsworth: President/CEO, Saint Agnes Medical Center

Rhonda Murphy: Owner, Rhonda's Personal Training

Julie Olson-Buchanan: Department Chair, Craig School of Business California State University, Fresno

Francine Oputa: Director, Central Valley Cultural Heritage Institute California State University, Fresno

Lori Ramirez: Executive Director, The Arc Fresno

Matilda Soria: Research and Development Director, Reading and Beyond

Dora Westerlund: President/CEO, Fresno Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
