Donations totaled $61,682 last year, more than achieving The Grabedian Group’s goal of $50,000. This year, the goal is to raise $65,000 in food and monetary donations by the end of the food drive June 28.

“It is a pleasure to partner again with The Garabedian Group to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors, right here in the Central Valley,” said Dayatra Latin, director of marketing and events at Community Food Bank, in the release. “The passion the staff has for our community is evident in their willingness to organize this amazing food drive and lead the efforts to involve other business partners.”

The Garabedian Group is reaching out to businesses and individuals to make this year’s effort another success. The Community Food Bank has provided the Group with food donation barrels, which will be delivered to local businesses that are participating in the event.

“As we look back to our first food drive, we can only be grateful for all of our clients, friends and team members that made it a huge success, even more of a success that we had ever dreamed it could be,” said Dale Garabedian, founder and managing partner of The Garabedian Group. “The 2012 Food Drive can only be described as fun and rewarding as we work towards achieving our goal again to benefit those in need.”

Donations from the public may be made at any of the participating locations until the final day of the food drive.
