Environmental law firm opens in Fresno

After practicing environmental law for years, Jacqueline McDonald Pucheu decided to open her own firm to make an emphasis on assisting agriculturalists in the Valley in managing land and water resources.

“Considering the Central Valley is highly agriculturally based, water rights is a pretty hot topic,” said Michelle Errecart, office manager for Pucheu Law. ”It’s just a very pervasive issue in Fresno County.”

However the firm is not limited to water rights. Pucheu is also experienced in land zoning, some natural resource and nearly everything involved in environmental law.

Pucheu is the sole proprietor and the firm is filed as an S-corp.

Pucheu received her bachelor’s from California Polytechnic State University and her jurist doctorate from the University of California, Davis, School of Law. She is also a graduate of the California Agricultural Leadership Program.

The young firm has kept busy with referrals.
