Edward Smith

The Business Journal has a new face in the newsroom. Edward Smith has joined the team as a reporter/researcher.

In addition to writing stories, he is also responsible for compiling our weekly ranked lists.

Here’s a little more about Edward in his own words:

I attended Bullard High and graduated in 2005. After years of working in the retail industry, I went back to Fresno City College for a degree in journalism. I have a passion for adventure and the outdoors and an unhealthy obsession with politics and history.

I first learned to love writing and research at a young age from my grandfather. Along with numerous personal endeavors in creative writing, I have also written for the Fresno City College newspaper, The Rampage, and served with the paper in several editorial positions.

I’m excited about a new career with the Business Journal. I hope to hone my skills and purvey local developments with what I’ve learned so far to an audience willing to listen.
